BTP - Butyl Titanium Phosphate

BTP is Butyl Titanium Phosphate is a pale yellow clear solution of Titanium chelates in alcohol.

Usage :

Butyl Titanium Phosphate is light colour , low odour adhesion promoter used in printing industry applications. It enhances crosslinking of the polymeric binder present in the printing ink.

Application :

  • Catalyst to produce plasticizers, polyesters and methacrylic esters
  • Adhesion promoter

Shelf Life :

About 12 months if stored at temperature between 0 to +40°C in original sealed containers, in dry place.

Handling Instructions :

  • Butyl Titanium Phosphate is flammable hence keep them away from fire.
  • Butyl Titanium Phosphate is highly sensitive to water. Hence, dry atmosphere is recommended in the storage place
  • Butyl Titanium Phosphate is quite sensitive to heat. Hence, keep them in sealed containers in a cool place.
  • In the case of spillage or leakage, put sand on it and immediately sprinkle the area with water.
